the J Lee Mobile Unit

the J Lee Mobile Unit live at Adobe 10/24/25

For this show we set up an old fashioned movie screen, landed my mobiles/candelabras in front and located and rigged up a heat and a light sensor to the modular synth to create this ambient/noise experimental performance. The mobiles also provided the visuals/light show. Thanks to musicians Night Driver, thee Microplastics, and Adobe (Jonnie Fellman). This recording is by my good friend and fellow IATSE stagehand Tom Scharff. Very thankful for his help in putting on this show. He also hipped me to using the Internet Archive for hosting music and vid. I am so down for getting out of the internet middle of the road. The promise of a decentralized internet is still there, folks (see SubAmerica ). It’s a bad look posting on mega big tech. I say don’t give them your life data. It’s not worth it. They should pay you. Plus, the adds… just gross.  I mean, do what you want, but I personally want a better, built from ground-up future, not the status quo giving even more power to tech oligarchs. So there! Now…. Time for some self care. Settle down in a comfortable place, maybe a bath, light some candles and incense and enjoy the below recording.
